POLICY & CARE

Carefully Made. Thoughtfully Maintained.

Katari products are designed with custom-quality details, refined materials, and lasting interiors in mind.

Please review the information below for guidance on ordering, product variation, shipping, and care.

TRADE ACCOUNT SUPPORT

All order questions, care concerns, warranty inquiries, and damage claims must be submitted by the Katari trade account holder or the business through which the product was purchased.

If you are an end consumer or client, please contact the designer, retailer or trade professional who assisted with your purchase.

Katari is happy to support our trade partners directly, but we may be unable to review order details, pricing, claims, or resolutions with third parties.

CUSTOM ORDERS

All custom orders are final sale. A 50% deposit is required at the time of ordering.

By approving the estimate and submitting the deposit, you acknowledge that all details on the estimate are accurate and complete. Orders will be manufactured according to the approved estimate, including measurements, fabric selections, trims, quantities, finishes, and all other project details.

Once approved and placed into production, custom orders cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Katari products are made in India. Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary depending on production requirements, product availability, destination, and global shipping conditions.

All custom orders remain final sale and non-refundable, including in the event of shipping delays.

Our warranty applies to items manufactured by Katari and covers visible defects in workmanship at the time of delivery.

If a remake, replacement, or repair is required, the item must first be inspected by our team. Please return the item to Katari for evaluation before any remake or replacement can be processed.

Buyers are responsible for inspecting all items at the time of receipt. Please email sales@katari.ca within 15 calendar days of receiving your order with any concerns.

Warranty concerns must be submitted by the original Katari trade account holder with the relevant order details.

After installation, finished drapery lengths may vary over time due to natural factors such as humidity, gravity, and the movement of natural fibres including linen and cotton.

Differences in floor levels may also affect the hem-to-floor appearance. These conditions are outside of Katari’s control and are not considered workmanship defects.

Do not steam Katari drapery. Use a dry iron on a silk setting only. Moisture can cause natural fibres to shrink or relax, and steaming may lead to puckering or distortion of the fabric.

We recommend having drapery cleaned by a professional cleaner experienced in handling fine and natural fabrics. Improper cleaning methods may cause shrinkage, distortion, or damage to the material.

Most Katari bedding is machine washable on a delicate cycle using mild detergent.

Gently reshape after washing and lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid direct heat. For a crisp, polished finish, lightly iron as needed.

For the best long-term results, professional dry cleaning may be recommended depending on the fabric, construction, and finish.

Katari textiles and soft furnishings should be handled with care. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, excessive moisture, harsh chemicals, and abrasive cleaning methods.

Please call or email us for product-specific care instructions.

We are happy to work with you to resolve concerns where possible. Depending on the situation, solutions may include a discount on a remake, a replacement, or a repair, with consideration given to reasonable use, proper care, and the condition of the item.

For product-specific care guidance, end clients should contact the trade professional or retailer through whom the product was purchased.

Katari’s warranty does not apply to the following conditions:

Normal wear and tear.

Hem length variations caused by uneven floors.

Damage resulting from improper handling, stains, or the inability to remove a stain.

Environmental or extraordinary conditions, including humidity, ultraviolet light exposure, moisture, heat, or other external factors.

Damage caused by improper cleaning, steaming, installation, storage, or use.
